It's so sweet to see friends from out of town. Ben and Erin had a double dessert date with us last night since they were in town for Christmas...and it was awesome. We didn't do anything so incredibly spectacular (okay, spectacular desserts), but it was so great to see them and to not have to introduce ourselves to someone new. I'm all for meeting new people, but the past few months have been filled with lots of meetings. It's just great to be able to see friends where we can just enjoy each other because we already know each other.
It's also so sweet to see some of the friendships we've made here becoming like that. We've met some great new friends, and that's definitely what's eased us in to living here.
That's it for right now - I'm feeling very grateful for how we've been blessed with our old and new friends...and I'm off to make tuna casserole!

Thanks so much for your comment. I'm a fellow Baylor girl- though you were yeeeeaaaarrrs after me! :) We would covet your prayers for our Abe, I just know that He will be glorified through his little life by the way He heals his brain.
